I am an ambitious, outgoing individual who values community. I am continuously seeking opportunities to learn and grow. I am a team player, willing to lead or follow, eager to learn and self-motivated. I have a strong ability to manage a team, maximize efficiency, and foster professional relationships within organizations. I am also a design enthusiast and I incorporate creativity into my take on presentation, problem-solving, and function in the office.
A little about my history:
I have worked as a freelance graphic designer and an office employee since 2003
In 2010, we were moved by the military to Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA and then to Fort Carson, CO. In 2015, when my daughter was born with medical needs, I earned my CNA certification to stay home and take care of her. When I returned home to the Western Slope, I also attempted to return to the workforce. But office management work was scarce, so I have worked in housekeeping and freelance design to make ends meet.
During this time, I have learned to manage businesses at a deeper level and have honed my graphic and motion graphic skills.
I am now seeking a permanent, full time position as a graphic designer. Ideally, this position will be with a small to mid-sized operation with a good heart and a family-like atmosphere where I can continue to grow in my skills and ultimately build a stable long-term career.
. . . And of course, my ideal job is 100% remote, or locally in my home town Montrose, CO. Unfortunately, due to current situations with COVID-19 commutes outside of town are simply impractical.
